The Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), also known as the Jakarta Convention Center, is a major exhibition and convention facility in the Senayan district of South Jakarta, Indonesia, along Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto. Completed in 1974 following construction that began in 1960, it serves as a hub for international conferences, trade shows, cultural events, and banquets, with core infrastructure including a round theater-style Plenary Hall seating 5,000 and combined exhibition halls totaling over 9,500 square meters of leasable space within an approximate 30,000 square meter complex.

Location

Jakarta Convention Center is at the gateway to the commercial and entertainment district of Senayan in Jakarta. Distance from Airport (Soekarno – Hatta) to Jakarta Convention Center (Senayan Gelora Bung Karno Area) 16 Mile around 45 – 60 minutes by taxi. Take Blue Bird Taxi as regular or Silver Bird as premium taxi which are have good drivers, reliable operator and some understand English language.

Getting there

By car or taxi from the Airport, take the exit at Senayan, then turn over at the Senayan flyover and enter Jalan Gerbang Pemuda.
